About Diversifyd Music Ministry
Diversifyd Music Ministry is a San Diego County nonprofit organization and registered 501(c)(3), founded in 2017 to serve the community through music education, youth mentorship, and community outreach. Our programs include worship and music training, a 7-on-7 youth football mentorship program (N67 Football), women’s outreach through our medical delivery initiative (DMM Routes), senior financial assistance, and monthly original worship music releases.
Our Story
Diversifyd Music Ministry was founded by Chad Makihele (Founder) and Lieni Makihele (Co-Founder), both with over 15 years of experience in music and creative leadership.
On September 27, 2012, the release date of Chad’s first Christian album, Chad experienced a life-threatening injury that became a turning point for their family. Through that experience, God became undeniably real, and their focus shifted from music performance to using music and service to glorify God and serve others.
In 2017, this calling evolved into Diversifyd Music Ministry, now serving San Diego County communities through education, mentorship, outreach, and original worship music.
